Mental health assessment
Our mental health assessments provide a comprehensive evaluation of an individual's emotional and psychological well-being. By utilising psychometric tests and clinical interviews, we offer detailed reports that include clinical impressions and tailored recommendations for clinical interventions and psychosocial support. These assessments are crucial in developing an individualised treatment plan, helping with your understanding of your current struggles, and facilitating better mental health outcomes.
We conduct mental health assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Everyone is welcome!

Who is the assessment for?
Our mental health assessments are designed for individuals experiencing a range of emotional and psychological concerns, including:
-
Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Stress:
For individuals facing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, or high stress levels, our assessments help to identify and explore underlying issues and provide a clear pathway toward effective treatment. -
Neurodevelopmental Conditions:
We also offer mental health assessments for individuals with autism and ADHD. These assessments consider both the neurodevelopmental profile and any co-occurring mental health concerns, ensuring that the support provided is holistic, neurodiversity-informed, and tailored to your needs.
If you are looking for a mental health assessment for a concern we have not listed here, please do get in touch by emailing us (office@inpsychmind.co.uk) or booking a free consultation and we can discuss how we can best support you!
Assessment proces
- Initial Consultation: We begin with an in-depth conversation to understand your current concerns, history, and what you are looking for from a mental health assessment.
- Administration of Psychometric Tests: Evidence-based tests, curated to your individual needs and current concerns, are administered to evaluate your mental health status across various dimensions.
- Clinical Interview and Behavioural Observations: Through a one-on-one clinical interview, we gain additional insights into your emotional and psychological state. We also discuss your perspective on what's going well and what you may be struggling with.
- Scoring and Detailed Analysis: Your results are carefully analysed to identify key areas of concern and strengths.
- Comprehensive Report: A detailed report is prepared, including tailored recommendations for clinical interventions, psychological support, and any psychosocial adaptations needed.
- Follow-up Appointments: If you would like further appointments to discuss the report or have psychological therapy sessions with us, that can be arranged as well.

Fees
Our mental health assessments cost £190 (including the report).
